He has been President of the NSW Branch for the past eight years and a committee member for the past fifteen years as Treasurer, Functions Officer and Deputy President. Mr. Nott was a Director of the former National body and has been a Trustee of the Foundation for the past six years. Mr. Nott is a Director of several insurance and financial institutions and has had a life long career in banking throughout Australia and England, plus ten years as Chief Executive of an English owned insurance affiliate, director of a Bermudan based insurance company, and consultant to several financial groups in Sydney. He was Treasurer of the Sydney Spring Festival of New Music for six years. Deputy Chairman Richard L. He has served on the Australia-Britain Society National Committee and Foundation as Secretary/Treasurer and Interim Chairman for some years and a member of the Canberra branch. Mr.Forster has had an extensive professional life and experience in the rural sector and finance area where he originated the Primary Producers Board and a founding member of the Financial Planning Association board, embracing superannuation strategies and estate planning where he received an Outstanding Service award in 1999. He is a long serving member of Canberra Rotary, and President of the Lord Tavernier’s (ACT Branch) that supports junior and disadvantaged sports-people. He is a member of the Canberra Branch of the Australia-Britain Society. Mr. Hilton has worked throughout four states of Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and Indonesia. Mr. Hilton is the President of the Victorian Branch of the Australia-Britain Society and a long term Society member. |
![]() Trustees Bob Nattey LVO, FAICD 10 Canterbury Crescent, Deakin ACT 2600 Tel 02 6273 3197 Email bcnattey@msn.com.au Captain Bob Nattey served in the Royal Australian Navy for thirty one years with global appointments including acting as the Australian Equerry to Her Majesty the Queen and accompanying the Queen and Royal family during the Bi-Centennial visit to Australia in 1970. He is currently Managing Director of National Communications Pty. Ltd Canberra; consultants in Public Relations, Government Relations and Government Affairs. This role involves developing marketing communication strategies for commercial organizations and defence suppliers. These roles were undertaken after a second career in the investment banking, financing and stock-broking world, having headed the ACT branch of Potter Partners for some years. Captain Nattey was a National Councillor and Director of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and President and Committee member of various organisations including the Commonwealth Club, the ACT Cancer Society, the Capital Arts Patrons Society, as well as the Australia-Britain Society where he is President of the ACT Branch. He is currently Manager Special Projects at Edith Cowan University Commercial Services, Centre Perth. Mr. Allen is the President of the Perth Branch of the Australia-Britain Society. In the UK with Liberty of London, the Debenham Group, and Co-operative Retail Services and in Eire as General Manager of Thomas McKenzie & Sons Ltd. In Australia he worked as both Merchandise Manager and Store Manager for Paynes Bon Marche in Melbourne and NSW. He was a General Manager and Director of Wyper Bros Limited (later a David Jones acquisition) and held similar appointments at the Currumbin Sanctuary, Gunn-Genders in Tasmania and Robbs Home Improvement Centres in Brisbane. He was gazetted as a JP in NSW in 1963 and admitted as an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management in 1969. He is a past Rotarian of near twenty years standing and is the past president of the Bundaberg & District Progress Association, the Gold Coast Attraction Owners Association and Kenmore 91 Probus Club. He also served as a board member of the Wide Bay Sheltered Workshop and taught management subjects at TAFE in both Bundaberg and Launceston."
