To see the winning artworks please click here. Thank you to all the talented WA artists who entered Art Idol 2007. The standard of artwork submitted was incredibly high, and after much deliberation the five Art Idols for 2007 were announced on Saturday 17th November at the Gala Awards Dinner.
This competition is now closed with the winner's announced.
Art Idol 2007 was a Western Australia-wide search for art talent.
The following categories applied:
Those who are registered disabled;
People of indigenous Australian origin;
Children under 13 years of age;
Young people between 13 and under 18 years of age;
Adults 18 years or over.
We were delighted to have Rolf Harris AM CBE as our Honorary Event Patron and support from amongst others, His Excellency, The Governor of Western Australia, Dr. Ken Michael and the WA British Consul, Commander Philip Orchard.
