The NSW Branch has a standard flag-ship of core events every year including the King’s Birthday Dinner, a Remembrance Day church service and luncheon and Christmas Lunch.
Details of the events are set out in full in the Newsletters and flyers. Our aim is to price them at almost cost and rely upon raffle sales to generate surplus monies to fund our grants programs. Events are held at various interesting Sydney locations including major clubs, the Union, University and Schools Club, James’ Church King Street, Royal Exchange of Sydney, and the Royal Automobile Club of Australia.
Kindred groups with similar aims as the Society (detailed in the annual report) are invited to join in these events to provide lower costs, fund entertainment, interesting guest speakers and attractive raffle prizes.

Annual General Meeting and Dinner
Thursday 24th September 2026
Annual General Meeting at 6PM
followed by a Dinner at approx. 6:45PM
Union University and Schools Club, Bent St, Sydney
Dinner for members and guests will be held from 6:45PM following the AGM.
Dinner: $80 per person, for a 2-course meal followed by Coffee or Tea, a cash bar will be available for other drinks purchase.
Guest Speaker: Miss Olivia Wright, Australian National Plain-English Speaking Award Champion 2025 and 2026 Grand Finalist English Speaking Union International Public Speaking Competition.
